Structural and magnetic characterization of BaTiO3–BaFe12O19 bilayer thin films: Interface effects on the magnetic properties of barium hexaferrite layer

We report the successful growth of BaFe12O19–BaTiO3 (BaM-BTO) bilayer thin films using pulsed laser deposition, considering different crystallographic textures; BTO on (0001)-BaM and BaM (100)-BTO. Our study involved bilayers, individual ferrite titanate films, targets used in their growth. Raman spectroscopy X-Ray diffraction were to examine structure BaM-BTO indicating that there is no formation impurity phases. The morphological characterization was made by scanning electron microscopy, magnetic behaviour studied SQUID magnetometry. spontaneous magnetization, anisotropy constant, field determined simultaneously from hysteresis loop. In addition, we also influence annealing temperatures over bare covered with film. This allows discern between magnetization reversal processes systems, a strong correlation coercive field, an unusual linear relation constant magnetization. results indicate direct properties phase, which places these composite bilayers as excellent candidates for development multifunctional devices.
